Common Questions

Yes! The core app is completely free. Premium features (extra accent colors, gallery view modes, true black mode) can be unlocked with a subscription and shared with the iOS app.

Go to Settings, click Upgrade, and complete the purchase. You'll receive an activation token on the success page. Paste it into the activation field in Settings to unlock premium features.

The direct Windows installer does not currently have a paid Authenticode publisher certificate, so Windows may identify it as an unknown publisher. Download it only from this page or the official GitHub release, then compare it with the published SHA-256 checksums. Unsigned Windows builds are offered only as manual downloads and are not sent through the automatic updater.

This only applies to the direct .dmg download. If you installed from the Mac App Store, you won't see this warning. For the .dmg: right-click (or Control-click) the app and select "Open" from the menu. Click "Open" in the dialog that appears. You only need to do this once — macOS will remember your choice.
